52 week sewing challenge – week 3

This week I went rogue and didn’t accept the challenge of making something to make sewing easier. I thought of several things I could have made, however the time I get to sew is quite precious and I decided that making something for myself would be more enjoyable.

I had bought the Relaxed Raglan pattern from Patterns for Pirates. Their patterns are fab as most of them are layered so you print your size at home and it saves the faff of tracing etc. The pattern is extremely easy to follow and it comes together really quickly. I used some double brushed poly knit and some plain jersey, I’m not quite sure on the combination, but know I’ll definitely make more from this pattern

I also bought the add on pack so you can make cowl necks, hoods etc for the same pattern, very versatile!

Next weeks challenge is to sew something for a boy. I’ll definitely be accepting this challenge, tune in next Sunday to see what I made!
