Crafternoon Tea

What better way to spend a day off with 2 friends by eating cake, drinking tea and doing some knitting, also known as Crafternoon tea!

I made a selection of sandwiches, scones and Victoria sponge. As well as some lemon bakewells and salted caramel chocolate tarts. The scone recipe was recommended by Dolly Bakes, and they certainly didn’t disappoint!

We spent the afternoon chatting and putting the world to rights, as well as doing some knitting. I’m still quite a novice so was glad of the company to refresh my memory. Both Karen and I are going to the WI tea and tents event in June (a WI camping weekend!) and we’re both going to join in with an Alice in Wonderland themed yarn bombing. So many ideas I want to try – best get practicing!
