I have been very fortunate recently to get a few more requests for custom orders. One request was for 3 different bags, all tied in with the same theme. I suggested a few ideas and the customer decided on a knitting bag, small purse and a ‘Grace Kelly bag’. I used the same fabrics in all three items, with a cupcake motif on 2 of the bags.

My other order was an apron for Mothers Day. As the lady in question likes baking and cupcakes, I did a free motion embroidery cupcake design on the pocket.

I love making custom orders as it really gets my design juices flowing and I love scouring the Internet for suitable fabric.
